Yoga is different from other forms of exercise because it combines physical positions (asanas) with mental attitude (mindfulness) and breath. When the body is properly aligned, the mind clear and focused and the breath deep and flowing, we achieve optimum balance. The toxins, tension and sluggishness that get locked in our muscles, joints and other pockets of the body and mind can be absorbed and then released.
